It used to be very popular crime in Finland, the crime rate was so low late eighties early nineties that it was a huge trend. Mostly because Finn's generally were very mild on penal codes and many people relied on an honor system in banking. The crafty criminals took advatage and would hit little banks in remote villages all over the place. Handguns were illegal and bank staff usully never hurt finally ended when Finland adopted our policies on bank robbers ink dye and survellience cameras.
