I do inflate them (they're air forks). maybe i over inflated them. i used a hand pump. im puzzled. anyone have any ideas? virtually no pits in the fork tubes. i dunno...

Did you happen to use "Leak proof" brand seals, those damn things always leak if you don't use sealer on the outside diameter.

Only use original Honda fork seals, they really are the best. I don't run air in my forks because it dose put allot more pressure on the seals and I am running ATF (automatic transmission fluid) instead of fork oil. The ATF I am using has a "seal softener" or "seal leak stopper" or something in it (I think it is Max Life but I'm not sure) and have not had any problems for the last 2 years.

"virtually" no pits?
"Any" flaws will allow leaks.
If you can feel anything with your finger nails - replace the tubes.
Even if the metal is just faded (that's a sign of that area being worn down past tolerance specs).
Adding to much oil, can cause the seals to leak - double check that you're adding the proper amount.
The source you're getting your specs from may be inaccurate.
It couldn't hurt to try the next time - not adding air.
