Why do you need iron shots? Do you have an illness that requires this?

You can add iron to your diet by what you eat or by taking a supplement. I'm still perplexed by why you would be getting iron shots?

If you took iron pills in the past, go back to doing that. If you no longer pass out, then you have your answer.

You need to talk to you doctor. If you have a type of anemia that is severe enough for iron shots, then it is probably the condition that is causing you to pass out not the treatment.

It may have something with how your body is processing the iron, but I agree if you didn't pass out while taking the pills you may want to ask your doctor if you can go back to that.
