Larry Craig is the Republican senator from Idaho that got caught by a policeman in some airport bathroom that is famous for gay men going to find random sex partners. First he plead guilty and resigned from the senate. Now he is withdrawing his guilty plea and trying to stay in the senate. He says it was all a big mistake and that he's not gay even though there are lots of men coming out saying they performed for him. Is it really possibly that this is really all a big coincidence and he didn't know what he was doing?

The reason it matters is because of alot of things
1) he 's married
2) he's looking for random sex partners
3) he's Republican
4) he's against gay marriage and gay rights
5) He's a Senator! He out of anyone should know the law and what it means to plead guilty.

I have used public restrooms and HAVE NEVER accidently given out all the signals to request gay sex.
He's gay. But that is not the reason he should resign. He needs to resign for breaking the law by soliciting sex in a public place.

To be absolutely honest, there is no doubt in my mind that Larry Craig is gay. This is not the first instance in which he has been accused of sexual ambiguity; all throughout his term as a senator he has been under the radar, and frankly, this is just nonsense. Such an act cannot be anything else, even an accident. However, I'm not implying at ALL that there is anything wrong with being Gay, I'm just saying this guy does.

No ,he could be bisexual. And I can `t understand if YA has a gay and lesbian section. And there are gay and lesbian channels on TV What is all the fuss about? If it is OK for some why not for all? I`m happy being straight and I can stay away from the others, they can `t harm me and they only put there own souls in danger.

Well the CDC and other health related organizations use the term "MSM" for men who have sex with men. It also can be used to categorize men who do have sex with men but don't self identify as gay. This is a term also to describe the "Down Low" men within the black community. It is a categorization based on behavior as opposed to self-identification. Personally I think that MSM are gay, but cannot come to grips with that. These men are not even out to themselves let alone others, some have been "battling" their same-sex desire for decades and tried to carry out "normal" heterosexual lives in an effort to change themselves.

If I was a betting man I would put all my money that he is bi, but I don't think he is guilty of any crime and should stay in the senate. Worst crimes are done everyday by politicians.

No coincidence. He's gay! I watch Dateline last night (10-16-07) and he's in denial. He could not keep a straight face when asked the question "if gay or bi"?...

don't care.
better question: is he doing a good job at his duties? then what does gay have to do one way or another?
now i understand there is an issue of sexual assault or indecent behavior against another person, and if true, is wrong--but who cares if it were a man or woman.
if we didn't put so much bias on the society, the man could out himself (if he is gay) and get on with the affairs of our county that need fixing.

Their are plenty of strait people who get a kick out of gay sex.
He is one of them. He has children with his wife so he has had strait sex too.
As far as men who suddenly say they had sex with somebody after the fact (male of female), well as a rule of decorum men are not supposed to tell, they are supposed to let the rumors fly, but not comment.

I believe he believes he's not gay. It's not a sensible belief, but it's his.
He's part of a culture that believes homosexuality is evil evil evil. He can forgive himself for soliciting men in a public restroom, but could never forgive himself for being gay. Or bi.
