You know I ordered 2 parcels over a week ago from Play.com the first one which was a single DVD came on Tuesday, but my bulk order has yet to come, should I be worried? I think that maybe sometimes my postman just avoids bringing your mail out to you on certain days, really hoping I get my book shortly!!

Lol it's probably due to the backlog they have at the mo but I share your suspicions, once I was out when a parcel came so I rung up to have it redelivered the next day....I waited in right by the door and the postman didnt even knock, he just filled out a form he'd obviously done before starting the round saying (yet again) 'sorry you were out' so I had to ring up again! And the depot ppl never answer the phone between the hours of 12-2pm, and when they do all you can hear is the radio in the background and their colleagues joking around behind them!

Not a lot the postie can do if Play haven't sent it.
I put in an order for 7 DVDs a week ago and got them all within 3 days.

there is nothing to get scared there was postal strikes on Thursday Friday and then following week Monday Tuesday so your mail is at least delayed by six working days

Been delayed due to the strikes and a backlog. Amazon delivered bang on time though - I wasn't in to receive the packet; now I must wait 48hrs before collecting..
Fuming!

our postman comes about 3 o clock in the afternoon these days-whatever happened to the post arriving before you even left for work..and as for the people delivering the free papers we get-the day is over by the time i get them!!

Are you sure it's coming in the mail? There are a lot of parcel sevices out there now.

it could be the problem of the people who need to send your parcel off rather than the mail man.
but i dont work for them so i wouldnt really know their system or tradition... it could be their fault.
but i guess we will never know.
just call or email play.com to find out if they have infact sent off your book

Don't know if it makes him more reliable.But my postman is gay
He delivers the post on time every day ,plus or
minus a few minutes.

There has been a postal strike so there's a big backlog to clear,hopefully you will have your parcel soon, patience.

Yeah - our post used to come about 9.30am - now we're lucky if we get things by lunchtime. The sooner it all gets sorted out the better (for everyone concerned).
