well u started off right by closing the vents off. I actually have a couple of rooms in my house that u could just freeze in. What i have found is that during the cooler months i actually have draft spot in my rooms. (places where air can travel to when you think it cant) There may be spaces in your door to ur door jam. Or drafts underneath ur door. There might even be drafts coming from ur windows where the house has shifted and these areas do not match up to the original frame of the house anymore. I know it sounds ghetto, but what i did was take a butter knife, plastic bags that i got from wal-mart and stuff them into the cracks that i could see in my doors and windows. Dont know if it will work for u. But its worth a try. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!

My dad's room is the coldest, since he prefers it to be that way, even when it gets cold out. I'm using a heater, and he's still using fans or opening his window! My room tends to stay the warmest, since there's 2 windows that keep it really warm in the summer, and I tend to turn the heater up.

it can matter on the positioning of your room, where the sun is shining and the insulation in the walls of that room. A lot of different factors can cause it.

My brother's room is the hottest. You may not believe me but the reason why is because he plays on his Xbox all day, everyday.. pathetic, I think.
