I personally have not done this but know of some who have. I think the answer to your question is based largely on the maturity of the person attending. If you have had experiences away from home before, and have some interpersonal skills of befriending and meeting others, the "homesick" part can be minimized. Also, if you are mature enough to realize that you are attending shcool and focus on school and not playing around, you can do well.
I would assume that you would do very well in a boarding school. :)

Sorry about the late answer. This is one decision that's pretty hard. OK you have 2 years left in high school, and your friends are most likely going to graduate from that school. If you really want to go to a boarding school then that's going to be up to you. Just remember it's a really good thing to graduate with your friends at the school you attend. But however if your heart is set on another school, or different education then follow your heart. It's all up to you dear good luck deciding.

i was also thinking about going to boarding school
i'm a sophmore right now
it's not really a good idea
if u really wanna go to college
it's more of a competition in private schools
than it is in normal high schools
i would advise you to go to a normal high school
in that you can exell && go to an awesome college
&& u save money for college too

OK, lets see. I would never do that, cause I would miss my horses! And plus, are you going to know anybody there? Cause if ya do, it helps. Plus, are you into a certain thing? Like, you want to study animals, nothing else. It's more up to you =], nobody can make the decision but you[[no pressure]]
