scared to death?

Well I have testing to go to at 6:00 to get into Hamilton High School. I'm scared and nervous. What do you do when you are testing to get into the school? Describe everything for me from ONCE you walk into that door. I need to know what to expect. [not asking for questions on the test, im asking for what did YOU do when you walked through that door. [just so i can be aware of it]

Both daughters had this experience this year because they have been home schooled for the past 11 years. This year they applied for a scholarship to a boarding school in New Mexico & had to take a placement test.
This is a list of things that I thought might be helpful, because it helped them.

1. Chewing gum, 4 or 5 packs.

2. Bottled water.

3. 5 or 6 pencils, already sharpened.

4. Small pencil shapener and an eraser

5. pack of tissues

6. scratch pad

7. Ink pens: All black ink, fine tip & extra fine tip

8. Loose-leaf notebook paper: College ruled

9. Name stamp(self inking type) black ink

10. Clipboard ( I painted theirs, so it was like a charm.)

11. Small empty jar w/ lid and I labeled it.
"Knowledge of the Universe & Self Esteem"

12. A piece of jewelry that had belonged to their late father.
( This was their lucky charm)

13. An index card from me with the words:
"Remember this, I love you, no matter what."
As Always, MomCat.
This was their reassurance from me.

So these are things that helped my girls when they took their placement test. They passed with flying colors.
I call this my "Baker's Dozen".
