When Derek Anderson stops being effective or if he gets injured. He'll get his chance, but it won't be for a while.

Barring injury to Anderson, not this year. Maybe not even next year. Next year in preseason there will probably be an open competition between him and Anderson, simply because they are paying him so much. With Anderson playing so well, the only way the Browns will ever get Quinn to start will probably be by trading Derek, or he'll have to start to struggle, for quite a few games. He's definitely not short leash material. But at least if it comes down to trading him, he'll probably have a lot of value on the market.

There are only one of two scenarios in which Quinn starts this season:

1. Quinn gets traded to a team that needs a QB (unlikely)
2. Derek Anderson gets hurt requiring Quinn to take over (you never know)

Derek Anderson is the man in Cleveland right now and I don't think that will change this season. Quinn will only start if he is traded (which probably won't happen) or Anderson is hurt.

I don't think it's likely he'll start soon, because of the fact Derek Anderson is doing so well. Brady Quinn will only start if:
1:D.Anderson has a horrible game/bad stretch of gameS
2:If he gets traded to, lets say, Buffalo, or another team with a QB situation.
3:If D.Anderson gets hurt/traded
Hope this helps!

honestly i see the makings of another rivers breez type situation. though would ive it two seasons to see for sure. anderson got some good play makers around him. for person that said he would vote him probowl i wouldnt go that far manning and brady are locks with young or schaub doing more with less around them for the third spot. honestly never been a big quinn fan so hopeing for browns sake that anderson pans out.

probably next year. they want to hold him out and they are using the example of carson palmer. if any of these people had actually watched the browns play they would realize that anderson is not the guy and it will eventually be quinn but judging from the fact that he hasnt even been on the field i doubt he will play at all this year.

Not likely anytime soon. Derek Anderson is doing a very nice job and as long as he continues, Cleveland with stick with him.

With the way DA is playing the Browns should just trade him. Anderson is really starting to look good and he's only 24
