Sure, they should be rewarded for not losing, but come on, that's what the little bowls are for. I don't care if they are ranked #1 or #2, but when they think they can actually beat LSU, OU, Cal, Florida, Kentucky, even Mizzou. . . No way.

Wow... heated question.
Here's the thing... you can't hate on these teams for beating the teams they were SUPPOSED to beat... Auburn, Cal, USC, Texas and even Oklahoma all had their chance but didn't beat the teams that they SHOULD have won??? Oklahoma losing to colorado is just not acceptable... I think LSU pleads a better case with KY but this is ONLY week 7 of Football... I think that USF prob. deserves #1 but will fall due to the lack of schedule here in the next 5-6 weeks... Ohio State's biggest challenges are here in the next 5 weeks, so if they deserve their spot, then they will win out... Right now, as it stands, Ohio State, USF and BC ended up as 1 through 3 by what I call "default." If these other "better" teams would have won out so far, then even an undefeated OSU wouldn't rank above them....
Also, take into consideration that LSU's lead the country in defense then allowed a teams to run up scores to 23-30 points!?
So, as it stands, these rankings are not permanent, if anything about this season has taught you anything, it's that losses happen to big and small teams alike!
Good luck with your team!

Ohio State and BC are #a million and #2 because of the fact they're the perfect communities without losses. LSU is #3 because of the fact they're extensively considered the perfect team in the perfect convention. Thats why, now no be counted if its justified or no longer, thats a various tale. i think of its nonetheless too early to assert. Oregon may be the perfect team and if Ohio State and BC are not and lose, i think of Oregon will bounce as much as those spots with LSU. yet while Oregon loses back, then you definately won't be able to evaluate them the perfect team in the country. yet enable me preserve my Buckeyes...The time table has been noticeably mild so far i will admit, however the top of it gets no longer easy with 4 magnificent 30 communities to wind up. Now in the event that they do win out, even you won't be able to deny the reality they're #a million. And only because of the fact we don't have Oregon on the time table, you may desire to agree we do play solid out of convention video games (forget approximately Washington). We only finished a house and residing house with Texas and beginning in 2008 we do residing house and homes with USC, Cal, Miami, Virginia Tech, and Oklahoma. P.S. Be counseled, you're whining now!

I'm with you man, still hoping oregon goes up some stops in the polls. Boston has virgina Tech, so maybe there. Ohio has michigan who hasn't lost since playing us (oregon), South Florida has Cincinnati left. So those are our hopes I guess. As long as 2 of them lose then we can watch Lsu or Oklahoma go for it. Thats my best guess. Later

how is oklahoma better than ohio state....they lost to Colorado...all Ohio State has done is destroyed the teams they are supposed to beat
if ohio state loses it will still be to a better team than Colorado, but with LSU you have a point...my ideal championship game would be OSU or USF or BC against LSU

Penn State will beat OSU, USF will probably go undefeated, and B.C. is just plain overrated. That being said, I am not ready to put LSU and OU back at the top. LSU lost to Kentucky, so this basically means that Kentucky is the better team, and OU even lost to Colorado.

If they do lose this year, I'll bet that their fans don't disappear for a couple days and only spend time at YA in the boxing section because they are too scared to face the music.
Unlike someone I know. Right Stonewall?
