Nova Caesarea is New Jersey.

One way to say "Jersey Devil" is daemon ille ex Nova Caesarea.

New Jersey's motto is Liberty and Prosperity: libertas et prosperitas. The New Jersey devil is not in the motto; in case you were supposed to write New Jersey's motto and not make up your own.

There are other words for devil. Plautus calls the devil "lupus in sermone." Cicero says "lupus in fabula." (When you say speak of the devil, for example.) Diabolus is a devil, but in a religious sense. Daemon (-onis m.) is more like the NJ Devil we know and ... not love ... appreciate?

Nova Caesarea is 1st declension.

I consistently warning human beings against getting a tattoo in a language they have in no way studied. there may well be subtleties of which skill you do no longer understand, or the interpretation would possibly no longer capture the which skill you're in seek of. additionally, any human beings are able to bobbing up a mistake or typo, which will then develop into everlasting on your physique. ultimately, there are a number of the form to translate even an straightforward word or sentence. proceed at your guy or woman possibility. right this is my translation: ubi verba deficiunt, cantus loquuntur the place (or while) words fail, songs talk. returned, i counsel you to no longer get it tattooed on your physique, exceptionally via fact that my Latin is slightly rusty.

Nova Cæsarea = New Jersey

Diabolus = devil

In Latin, the endings of the words change depending on how they are used, so you might want to run your fisihed motto through here for comments.

For example, if you wanted to say 'Devils of New Jersey', it would be:

Diaboli Novae Caesarae
