I have a Nokia 6102i w/AT&T service. I can't get my new Southwing SH310 bluetooth headset to work. I used
to use a Planatronics. I hooked it up w/no problem. The ear piece broke off of it. My boyfriend gave me this Southwing SH310 (which is compatible) bluetooth. I not only did EXACTLY what I did 2 hook my first one up,
but I also looked it up on AT&T's help section & followed it step by step. It keeps saying no device found. (The bluetooth was on correctly). Why would it do this? How can I make it hook up? Does the Planatronics 1 hv 2 be deleted 1st? I emailed them 4 help, but their reply was 4 me 2 call customer srvc. I dont want 2 do that. I hope sm1 on here can help. Thanks!

It doesn't matter if you delete the old one or not. You can have multiple devices on the phone list. The headset must not be in discover mode. Most you just hold the power until it flashes or turns a different color. Then start the search from the phone. If it came with a book it will tell you there

I think Michelle's answer is what your trying to decipher. you could have a 1000nd phones, as long as they have been given the right code to receive the Headset, it will communicate with the Headset but we would have to wait for the Tech Doc's to create some sort of dual frequency so the Headset could communicate and work with 2 independent mobiles? I can only see this being successful if the 2 independents are in constant proximity to the Headset, i.e. will be used by the same owner? Interesting question & pending Bluetooth tech' adance. Regards, Bravo.

yeh u should delet the old headset, but u have 2 make sure tht the new headset is in descover mode too. if the phone doesn't see the headset then it can't pair w/ it. 2 me the issue is the new headset not ur phone.
