Hard to say. The foot and ankle structures were delicate and didn't fossilize well, and it is not clear whether the wing membranes attached to the feet, ankles, or higher.

However, some recent evidence suggests that they had good running ankle joints, so likely not roosting upside down like bats. Bats don't run or walk well, they sort of "knuckle-walk" like chimps (look for video of vampire bats approaching a horse's hoof).
