Its really arrogant and clueless of him, he just brags about how he's going to veto them anyway!

It's just politics. Anything Bush can find to criticize Congress (now that they've got a marginal Democratic majority), in his eyes, makes him look better in contrast.

That sais, Congress should slap things onto his desk whether he's threatening to veto them or not!

Clueless is the key word.
Tell him to ask the obstructionist Republicans in Congress where the bills are.

He has only had 4 vetoes since he has been in office. Congress needs to get off their rears and earn their keep.

He's complaining because they say they support the troops and want to give them what they need, but they don't do any appropriation bills.

Please don't be clueless on a subject and then post a question, also don't watch news clips, watch his whole address.

Exactly -- and if he doesn't get to veto something -- or sign something and add his own interpretation -- then he doesn't have a lot to talk about to the press.

It amazes me how sickly partisan some people are to make up this stuff. They take GW's hatred to the extreme pretty easy instead of hoping for a better America. What GW asked for was urgent action to fix the problems with Veterans Health Care - I guess these people who hate Bush must hate the injured soldiers just as much. There is some partisan jibberish for you to swallow on.
