hip-hop tends to be a youth culture because its the same shyt and eventually adults who listened in their younger days, got bored or realized its stupid to glorify violence, death and sex in a world where sex kills, violence hurts and death is nothing but pain. Younger people don't really comprehend those things as much so rap appeals more to them until they mature.

but there is some hip-hop that can still appeal to older people. Artists like Common and Kanye West have revolutionized the art where older generations who still love it, can relate to it more.

I use to be a HUGE rap/hip/hop/R&B fan.. but about 3 years ago is when I started getting into rock..

Lately, I'm even MORE annoyed with this type of genre. YOU'RE RIGHT. too many repeats. And like.. "make it rain" and stuff like "buy you a drank" i mean.. YOU HEAR IT IN ALMOST EVERY SONG. lol!

=)

so.. now for some reason, I've gone hawd-core! lmao!

***To the girl under me. I know it's not the same thing. But I didn't feel like putting.. "and and and and". So I just use slashes. xD

Rap/Hip hop is way to commercialized, so yes I am starting to lose interest in it.

Ill never lose interest in R&B Though ;)

I kind of have. I really don't like the new stuff too much. I mostly listen to underground, and music before my time.
