get it filled mate. ive got a lot of dental work and i always regretted letting them pull a couple of my back teeth rather than have them root canaled like i should have.

Take it out then I dont have to hear that dreaded drill, there is no fear of the filling coming out and having to be repaired again and the pain is gone never to return. Crowns etc are really good these days too so noone need ever know!
