I was having a conversation with a women on here a few hours ago. Basically she sleep's with married men and unapologic about it. We had a debate on whether or not what she was doing was wrong or right. Interesting conversation! She was 46, me 21. She told me that right now I live in a fairy tale land and when I get older I'll realize stuff like what she's doing isn't that bad at all. I only think it is because I'm young was taught it was bad. As the convesation progressed, I found that she actually hated stuff like cheating and really wished thing weren't like the way it is in today society. She seemed more jaded and tanited by her experinces in life then anything else.
So it got me thinking. Is about getting older and being wiser? Or getting older and giving up? As you get older, do you smarten up or just give up and settle for whatever at your disopsable? Life takes it's toll and runs you down. It seem's like that too me. THOUGHTS?

It has nothing to do with age, it has to do with what your morals are. She must have had an experience at some time in her life that has made her feel her self worth is less than special so she gave up. Or she never had any morals at all. Age doesn't have a thing to do with that. I am her age and I feel the same as i did when I was 20 years old, I stand by what I have always believed in, NOthing can shatter my strong beliefs. I think people let themselves down my friend. Don't buy that crap she is telling you. You do become wiser with age.

As you get older you realise that many of lifes opportunities are being left behind and it can make you want to do as much as you can while you can.
The being jaded and tainted part comes from knowing that you are never going to have the same opportunities again.

Getting older is wonderful because we can give back to society and have so much to offer I just think she was jadded

Really, the answer to the question depends on you.
some people get wiser when they get older.
some people get older and seem to be determined to make themselves miserable and their life awful.

I think those 2 paths are very different, I think both paths are walkable so i think your right on both accounts :) lucky you :)
