Plato - I posted a link to Ladybugs question becuase I thought t had serious merit. I you instead try to turn it into something extremely sordid by suggesting I get some sort of satisfaction out of it. Why dont you just go to bed and do yourself a favour

Just a word on this since there has been a whole issue tonight regarding warnings. Adams question only links to LadyBugs question. So there is no direct link in Adams question here to any picture that some may find offensive. Adam has provided a direct link to wikipedia that does not include any pictures.

That said, if you do find pictures of people who have had severe facial burns (and thus disfigured) distressing, then I would advise that you do not follow Ladybugs link.

These pictures although very graphic and upsetting should be shown because it does make you think about your own actions and how they can affect other people...

In Northern Ireland they are brilliant at doing this, you never know what is going to be next but it sure gets your attention. Maybe being used to horror on many degrees, they, more than others will understand. Anyway I fully support this shock tactic wholly...

Thanks for pointing that one out, Shocking, and just shows the dangers that too many people tend to ignore. Some of my own family included, they will be seeing a copy of this, I will make sure.

On the other question, some people say there should be a warning, of course there shouldn't that's how people remember things by something shocking that will stick in there head!!

This is real life. Some people out there are ignorant and have it in their heads that all people who are involved in car crashes come out of it looking like Bruce Willis at the end of Die Hard and make a full recovery.Well it isnt always like that

This is absolutely heart-wrenching, but is does not need the revolving crucifix-style crosses in between pictures. It would be more effective without. To me this is an attempt to over-dramatise, and in a situation like this, no over-dramatisation is needed. It is there for us all to see. I hope that this will serve a purpose, this lady needs to know that she has been a life -saver for others, and thanks for bringing it to our attention.

The lady in question deserves a medal. I don't know that I could survive an ordeal like that.

Pluto is right. You should have given a warning as there are kids that come on here you know.
