You made me cry with that. I think that it's important to share but most people who drink and drive do it because they think that it won't happen to them. It's very upsetting though.

I didn't think you were hurtful Dolly, you made a valid point for some and Jackie no doubt intends her story to have a shock impact, sometimes this is the only way to make people think.
God Bless her though, what a brave woman. Every day of her life must be agony of one form or another so to transcend that and think of others is utterly amazing.

You shouldn't apologise, it is what it is, and the title is warning enough.
That girl and her family have taken the incredibly brave step of going pubic with her sad story, in the hope of preventing it from happening to another family... that's something they can be forever proud of themselves for.
I don't know why you would think you need to apologise for this girl's story? This is her life's story, and I don't think it should be treated as anything other than a cautionary tale.
If anything, posting a warning would be extremely inappropriate, and a little insulting to the poor girl.
I'm thinking now that if it were my daughter, and we had come through all that trauma and did our best to get something positive out of it, albeit for someone else, I'd be HIGHLY offended to see someone post a link with a warning.

It is a real shock perhaps it should be shown when people take their driving test so they can see the results of selfish drinkers and they should be told "It could be You"
I'm not religious but I hope if there is a god he will help that poor young lady.
Thank you for making more people aware.

Graphic.......yes
Disturbing............yes
Needs to be shared..................Most definitely
Sadly most of the (want to say Morons, but better be more PC), intellectually challenged that DO drink and drive:
a) wouldn't have the intelligence to be here
b) wouldn't care because "It won't happen to me 'cos I'm OK"
Thanks for the post though, shame the government wouldn't allow it as a real advert. (in case it upset somebody)

Dont apologise. This is what really happens. If you ask me the government should be showing more hard hitting adverts like these instead of ridiculous ones that nobody takes any notice of like that one where the blonde woman in the pub gets hit by an invisible car

The more the idiots that do it realise the wreckage they leave behind the better. Do not click on any link to rotten.com or you will see some really bad stuff.

I think it brings home the truth of how fragile life is when dealing with the issue of drink driving.

I think it is a good thing you put it up dolly. The harsh realities of life, we could bump into somebody like that poor lady in the street, so maybe it is good practice for people who may shy away from somebody like her. You would not get a warning if you bumped into somebody like that in your supermarket.
