(i think) 2 presidents were born in Kentucky. There are 43 presidents. so what is the percent of u.s. presidents that were born in kentucky?

divide 2 by 43 and you get .0465 or 4.65 %

as far as Confederacy, there was only one President--Jefferson Davis. If he came from Kentucky, 100 %; if not 0 %

Actually, ONLY Lincoln was born in Kentucky. And, since Grover Cleveland's two terms were split (so that he is counted as BOTH the 22nd and 24th President), there have actually only been 42 different men in the office.

1/42 = 2.381%

As for the Confederacy -- yes, Jefferson Davis was born in Kentucky. Since he was the only Confederate President, thats' 100% of CSA Presidents born in Kentucky
