No... I don't give thumbs-ups unless the person gave a really good answer... except for the question I asked when I reached lvl 7 in which I gave all 51 answerers thumbs-ups.

no, I don't have any contacts, but If I think the answer is excellent I don't answer the question and give give a thumb up to the person who wrote it.

Yes I do give to charity. I give to the person on the street, breast cancer, school charities and many times a participant in the solicitations for charities. It really is a good feeling, and you don't miss the money or time you give. I hope that more people would try giving, its very rewarding. Oh, BTW I do give thumbs ups also.

If they are positive, i agree with them, and they are not mean, preppy, or stupid...then now your talking thumbs up. if they are
