Clearly you live somewhere far removed from the coast.

Because raising sea levels might not sound like much to a bloke in the middle of, say, Arizona, but if you've got a beachfront property in Miami or out along the Keys, that's increasing the risk of you suddenly developing a swimming pool in your lounge.

Melting glaciers and raising sea levels aren't made up or over reacted to, if anything people aren't paying enough attention.

You could be Right... But consider THIS; If Global Warming IS coming "down the tracks"- how LONG are You willing to stand on Them- before you decide to move??? What people like Al Gore are "singing"- is the old Johnny Cash, "Folsom Prison" song- that goes, "...I hear the Train a-comin', -it's comin' around the Bend..." Are you REALLY up to a game of "chicken" -with half the Human Race??? :0

Nature works.
If Greenland is any indication, global
warming is just a point in a cycle.

It is a fact , and any one who reads the Bible can tell you this . The ice caps will melt some, the oceans will rise, and man will not be able to step out in the day with out major protection because he will get burnt .Nobody ever thought Israel would be a nation again either .

I think we unquestionably are being affected by global warming and anyone that argues otherwise is in denial BUT i do also think its something that the media has grabbed a hold of (as usual) and are spinning as much as they can to make as much money as they can! down with murdoch!

he world is warming, but I think our childrens, children, ect. have that to worry about as far as the weather getting unbearable. The media does make everthing seem worse, but you must admit the weather isn't the same as it was in the 80's and earily 90's at least not in Ohio.

global warming is true. but some action will be taken for sure. the presence of global warming doesn't mean it's the end of the world.

Keep your head in the sand... Global Warming is real, and it is something out over-consumptive, industrial society has unleashed upon itself. You can be part of the problem, or part of the solution.

Those with their heads in the sand, or conspiracy theorists that can possibly comprehend the simplest of scientific facts are part of the problem. The rest of us - who are learning to reduce/reuse/recycle ... are part of the solution. I'm just praying we are doing enough to save this planet for the next 7 generations of MY offspring.

I just remember the horrors of global cooling we overcame in the 80s and realize the marvels of science that can save us without verifying if we were actually at risk in the first place.
