If it is not glorious would you be afraid to die in battle and/or do you find battle glorious

Death is never glorious, even when it is necessary. To take the life of another always detracts from the individual who caused the death.

At the same time, we honor those who place their lives on the line to protect others or our way of life, but that honor is not to be confused with glory.

No one who has served in the military would use the word glory associated with death that occurs in the course of duty.
