I heard some girls talking that they get embarrassed cause of that rrrrrrrrriiiip sound when removing a pad. what causes that sound? or what were they talking about?

I know I get embarrassed because I ONLY use pads and most girls use tampons. I guess I just don't know how to use tampons right because they are always uncomfortable for me.
But the rip is the sound of the pad (which is sticky on one side so it can stick to your panties) being taken off. But there is also noise associated with taking the pad out of the package that some are embarrassed by as well.

Its the adhesive on the pad sticking to their clothing

a pad sticks to ur underwear and it makes a rip sound when u pull it off
