I have no idea really. I would have to be put in that situation. I would never get an abortion under normal circumstances, but it is hard to say what someone would do without being in the situation.

Rape or incest is the only time women should even think about aborting a child. I hate for people to go around calling people killers, but you have to look at it this way too. That woman is already going through an extremely hard time and having a baby would not make it any better especially if you think about why that baby is being brought into the world. I know that I would have a hard time deciding in this case because I would hate for my first born to be the result of a heinous crime and to have to think about it for the rest of my life whenever I think or see the child. I'm not saying that it's better off dead, of course not, but some times you need to consider the woman's feelings too.

i think woman should have the choice to determine whether or not to have the child. Killing a cell is not murder by the way. When they do abortion the thing theyre killing is nothing near as developed as a human, it most likely does not even have a heart or a brain so this is not murder. Im a guy but if i was a woman and was raped i would def have an abortion. who would want to raise a child that looks like the man who raped them that would be horrible if u ask me

I'm not a woman, but if my significant other or wife were raped, I know I would have an extremely hard time with it if she decided to carry the child and raise it. And I mean extremely hard time.

I know its a very poor way to look at this, but I would see it as a constant reminder of one of the worst days in my wifes life. Of course, with any baby that all goes out the window when you look into their eyes.

I just hope I would be strong enough to not only support her and this decision, but actually be man enough to set aside my personal issues.

It is your choice to decide what you want to do. Rape is a very gruesome crime it is not only physical act and violence the psychological damage that it causes for a female is far greater.

Most rape victims live is scare and mis-trust of people around them, they have a very stressful life.

This question is very personal and should be left for individuals to decide.

As far as I am concern, a rape victim should get the Morning After Pill without prescription and right away.

I think it is between the woman and 2 doctors, one from the pro life side and those who accept it.
It needs to be professional advice, covering the pros and cons of the choices, and unbiased.
It is a choice I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

i am for pro choice. i think just because it was a terrible terrible act that i or anyone for that matter could never imagine or understand to that set person can answer. although i would still embrace and raise the child through love and understanding that they are still a miracle of life.

I would NOT have an abortion, because yes, the baby DOES deserve to live...it's not the baby's fault that you got raped!

I honestly haven't a clue. I'd have to be in that situation before I would know what I would do. It's such a horrible thing and it would leave a huge scar on your mentality. How can you know what you would do if you've never been in such a dire situation?

It would depend on the circumstances involved if I would abort or not.
