I have a 1yr old chameleon and looking to fine interesting food to feed him

Yes, chameleons like fruit flies however fruit flies are best suited for baby chameleons only due to its relatively small size.

You can feed your 1 year old chameleon with crickets daily. You can also occasionally feed it with wax worms or mealworms and other variation of insects.

To have a healthy chameleon, dust the feeder insect with calcium powder and you may also dust it with vitamin/minerals supplements every 2 weeks.

Just in case you have a "veiled chameleon", fruits and plant matter can be included in its diet like bananas, berries , melon , carrot, tomatoes, mustard leaves,etc.{Other chameleons are mainly insectivores}.

Neonate (baby) chameleons require very small food items. Flightless fruit fly cultures are available from many commercial suppliers. It is also easy to start your own colony of fruit flies. Many baby chameleons show a preference for flying food, and fruit flies are an ideal food source for very young animals.

If it is 1 yr old it should be pretty big feed it supermealworms and large dusted crickets

pretty much any kind of fly they would eat so yes they will eat them..that and crickets
