If you're indeed pregnant, it is not too early to be experiencing some signs. The center palpitations you describe should not fairly a "symptom" of pregnancy. The opposite symptoms might very well be. Word that one does not always experience breast tenderness, especially this early on. However, you also mention a yeast infection. Before self-treating for that, you will have to consult your healthcare professional, as he/she would need to affirm whether or now not you might be pregnant before treating that.

Of course you could be pregnant. I personally never had symptoms until about 3 to 4 weeks into the pregnancy. Everyone is different. I don't think you would be getting sharp pains in your belly, but who knows. Every little thing that happens you are going to think it is from pregnancy if you are trying. Believe me I know, I am that way. Just wait until you are supposed to have your period or go get a blood test in a week or two if you don't want to wait that long. Good Luck!

Sorry, but I don't necessarily agree with the doctor here. You won't experience symptoms one day after you have sex. It takes 6-12 days after conception (which may not have even occured the same day you had sex) for the fertilized egg to implant, and before that, your body doesn't really even know that you are pregnant. Of course it's possible that you are pregnant, but I don't think that what you are feeling is necessarily related.

It takes 6-10 days for the fertilized egg to implant, which then starts the production of HCG, which causes the pregnancy symptoms. You would not have signs this early.
Also, when sex is timed perfectly, your chances of conceiving any given month is 25%, and it goes down a little after age 30.

Well if thats what your doctor said... All I know is that the pregnancy symptoms are usually a result of increased horomones. That takes more than a day to occur. In fact, many women don't even know they are pregnant for six weeks!

I wouldn't think you could feel symptoms so soon, but that does not mean you are not pregnant. Do you want to be? If you are asking because you are having doubts about the decision you made then you are in time for some options.

It's impossible to feel pregnancy symptoms within days of having unprotected sex and conception occuring. The egg hasn't even implanted yet, so your hCG levels aren't even changed yet. I'm not saying that you aren't pregnant, but your hCG levels won't start rising until about two weeks after implantation, which is when symptoms usually start.

Its too early, you wont start having symptoms yet and its too early to take a pregnancy test. Wait 4 to 8 weeks.
