I'm friends with this guy, but I am really, REALLY not attracted to him at all (looks-wise and personality). And yea, he likes me...but how do I get him to stop? I still want to talk and I don't want to ignore him but I don't want to be too mean or get into an uncomfortable situation at the same time. Right now it's just really awkward...so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Er...I don't really want to embarrass myself in front of him. And I always talk about other guys in front of him but he doesn't seem to care.

Yea that would all help except I'm not supposed to know that he likes me, and I'm not sure if he knows that I know he likes me. (kind of confusing but yea...stupid high school drama lol)

you are a very sweet, mature, caring and unselfish young lady to be handling things the way that you are. and you should be very proud of yourself.
I'm already out of school, but I really understand what you're going through because I've been there myself.
just try to ignore any comments that he makes to you that insinuates that he likes you. also, when he compliments you, just acknowledge him very casually.
and if he's one of those guys who is touchy and wants to put his arm around you, or tries to play with your hair, tell him that kind of stuff is reserved for boyfriends only!
and if he keeps it up, you're just going to have to tell him that you've tried to get the point across that you're not interested in him as anything more than a friend.
he will definitely get the point then, and hopefully deal with it and accept it.
and if he's really your friend, he won't be mad at you or act like a jerk about it.
Good Luck With Everything. = )

Whenever the two of you are alone let him know that you only see him as a friend and that you don't see him in that kind of way. Also, let him know that you don't want to make your friendship awkward over this. Whatever you do - don't make fun of him for it! If all else fails, drop subtle hints that you're not interested. Talk about how cute you think that guy that sits in the front row of your match class is, etc. Best of luck!

If you are not attracted to him, tell him very clearly "I like you as a friend. I am not interested in anything else." Then let him decide if he only wants to be friends with you. If he likes you too much to only be friends with you, then you will have to go your separate ways until his ardor cools down and he's moved on to someone else.

If you don't make yourself clear in your feelings and intentions now, you will only be leading him on and that will hurt him more when he finally realizes that you are not interested. Awkward situations are a part of life, better to be a little bit awkward now rather than have a big hurt later.

Well you can't. You can't make anyone do anything. You however have choices. You should be stair forward with him, say I like you but just as a friend, I'm sorry if this upsets you but I didn't want us to get into an awkward situation. Or you can keep going as you are.

Start doing really annoying stuff..fart around him, and talk about your period...

or just talk about other guys... cuz that would probably turn me off from a girl....

That or be honest with the guy? But he could be crazy, and like kill you...
