According to Kelley Blue Book, a private sale value for this car is:
in Excellent Condition: $17,650
in Good Condition: $16,550
in Fair Condition: $15,100
So probably a good value.

The S2000 is a nice car. For the price thats a good deal. Check on kbb.com but im think that a 2000 that year and mileage should run about that price. Somewhere between 14-$18,000. Even better that its still stock most people like to get those cars and mod them. Just make sure that the guy didnt do all kinds of stuff to it mess it up them took it all back off and try to sell it. CHECK CARFAX.COM for wreck info.

will if you gonna but it cash i will say yeah it OK may be the guy needed the money but i will get a carfax history and get the record for mountainous and make sure if its privately go to kbb.com and see how much this car work and make sure you add a feature stuff like mp3. removable ti top cover etc. so you can see how much. i found out the fair prices for excellent condition cost $20100 for Retail Value suggestion prices and for private seller was from $17700 for excellent condition, good condition was about $16600 and pair condition $15150. hope this help.

that's a great deal but for a 2002 the km are quite high
but that where the price comes in
I'm telling u that's a steal
but s2000 are really under power and there a ***** in oversterring around tight cornering
but u shud go to a near by HONDA dealership and get it checked out for about 100 bucks at least i think
and its stock that's good too but
just to remind u the vtec burns oil so u gotta have money for changing the oil and stuff but other than that grrreat
for more info go to www.s2ki.com

Cars aren't investments.
That having been said, seems like a decent price. Make sure to have a pre-purchase inspection performed.
