Well, you should probably get your degree in Accounting, then work as one to earn your C.P.A. Then go to law school for 3 years. Or, you could go to law school for 3 and get what's called an LLM in Tax (1 year extra). You're basically an accountant type. Accounting is with numbers. Law is accounting with words. The only part of the above formula that you must do is get the law degree. By the way, never watch that movie The Notebook or you will regret it. You will lose all hope and ambition in life because it haunts you.

First you need an under graduate degree - probably one in accounting would be best. Then you need to go to law school. So 6-7 years.
