Bush is doing a good job. Democrats are trying every lie in the book and failing.

President Bush is only supported by the Neocon base, and that number is very small 34%. That is a very low approval rating.

The President causes grid lock in congress by vetoing certain bills, and the Democrats do not have a clear 2/3 majority to override the veto. So they have become ineffective, because they are unable to end the war, as they promised.

Since when is 34 double 23? You should do the math before you post questions like this. There's probably a much higher percentage than 9 that are dissatisfied with Congress for not impeaching Bush and continuing to fund the war.

That the Dems in Congress are 3 times more popular than the Reps.
Why do you think so many Reps are retiring after this term?

It tells me that you're cherry picking your statistics, like a good Republican.

"Do you approve or disapprove of the way the Democrats in Congress are doing their job?" 9/27 - 9/30/07
Approve 38%
Disapprove 57%
Unsure 5%

That there's still too many Republicans in Congress. Weed them out, so the Democrats can over-ride a veto and you will see unprecedented congressional popularity. I promise!

It tells me you dont have a clue.

The problem Americans have with the Congress is that they cannot override a veto. Not liberal ENOUGH.

If the elcection were held today Democrats would pick up 12-15 seats.

It tells me that either the President's approval ratings are meaningless or the American people hate Democrats more than they hate Republicans.

The democrats can't get anything done even when handed an opportunity on a silver platter.

Makes me feel good!
