If you have a spacesuit on and you fart of course it is going to smell it is stuck inside there. If you don't your screwed! If you do take it of and fart in space (which you can't) then you gas molecules would
1. freeze on automatic contact with space
2. It would not smell in space cause there aren't molecules to cling onto in space to smell.
3. the smell wouldn't go away it would stay in one spot because there is no wind to push it away!!

Well, my farts stink and tend to hang around my space. So, I am assuming your farts stink in your space, which leads us to conclude that if everyone's farts stink, they stink in their space. So, the answer, yes.

Sure they do; even outside your space suit. Since it's a gas, it still would exist in space and therefor could travel to another place in space and be smelled elsewhere. It would be near impossible for a human to smell anything when exposed to the vacuum of space since you wouldn't have the power to breath anything in. The fart could be detected,(smelled), by an electronic device in space.

Yes they would. Because if you are in space, in order to survive you would be wearing a spacesuit. Farting inside your spacesuit would cause the interior of the suit material to smell.
