Helium was detected in the spectrum of the sun before it was detected on Earth. Is that what you mean?

Or are you asking which was the first element to be detected in the sun's spectrum? That would be hydrogen (since its the most common element of the sun).

Hi there my dear friend. I enjoyed your poems especially the last one. However, I, without any kind of drug have changed a lot and I am sure I won't be the person I used to be. I think I should add that I even hate drugs. If you allow me I want to say that it the very life that will destroy you. (just a dark thought though; no offense). Your passion for poetry is a great one. We all have your kind and honest comments and I was think like my friend BG that it would be better if we could have more of your poetry. I don't really care what you write about or for, I would demand for more of yours. Thank you very much for sharing.

The name of the Sun god in the old Greek mythology was Helios. The element that was first discovered in the light spectrum of the Sun was named after that mythological figure.

It is a gas and it has a very low atomic mass.
