It depends on why exactly you got fired. If the ONLY reason was her claims of harrassment, then you were unlawfully terminated--because the existence of a sexual relationship between her and her boss, and your knowledge of it, establishes a hostile work environment due to sexual harrassment--but if you were fired for several reasons (tardiness, layoffs, bad performance) and that was just one of them, you're out of luck, probably.

What documentation do you have? Do you have witnesses to refute her claims? If you do, bring civil suit against her first, expose her, then inform your former employer that they have exactly NO time to: A. Hire you back; B. Pay you for all the time off, plus punitive damages, and that if they do not, you will bring suit against them on the same basis you have already won. If you don't have such documentation, might as well smile, light a cigarette, as you have just been done in, though you can always try the local employment services organization for help.

If you would really like to follow up on this contact your local Employees Labor Relation Board. If legal redress is possible ( which it might be even as an at will employee) they would know and be able to tell you how to proceed. Questions: Did they document your alleged misconduct? And even if you get your job back will you want it. I am sure that they will make your life hell and look for any opportunity to fire you again.

Practically, you should just find another job.

It's not what you know, it's what you can prove.

The success of a slander lawsuit would depend on the evidence you have. Presumably, you have none. Your time would be best spent finding a new job and moving on.

Nothing in your story would support an unfair termination suit as you are an at will employee. The sexual harassment approach has little merit and is likely to fail.
