Hm, in 2000 I didn't not find him exactly fascinating.
A bit unseasoned, but who knows whether or not that might
have made an even better president than spicy Bill. Hehehe.
I shall avoid the Iraq swamps and say, Gore - for Louisiana !!
On top he then might not have felt urged to produce an oldhat
movie "Basics for Braindeads" - popular science is ambiguous.

Al Gore should have been the president. Then maybe America wouldn't be as messed up right now. Only one more year, though, and Bush is gone for good. We still have to deal with the damage left over, but at least getting rid of him is a positive step in the right direction. It'll take time, but having him gone will immensley help everyone!!

I believe in principles first over anything else. If I choose to support Clinton, it is because he has done good as President. If I say, instead, that I fully support Bush, I do not expect to be bashed by the Clinton people!
While I condemn Bush (you guys should see my postings) harshly, I do not believe that Gore in the White House would do any better, especially on the question of Iraq.
Most people in the general public and most elected officials in DC seem to be blind as to what Iraq is all about.
My support of Clinton is conditional. I hope that he will be able to see the light of day and be a supporter of reform for this nation and the prosecution of the Bush administration!

Gore--Bush and his brother Jeb stole the election that Al Gore won.
Besides, I've been saying 'go green' for years!

Your question is a bit moot but you already knew that I'm sure ;)
I would have to say Gore. I actually respect him and think he is a decent guy. I also think that there would not have been a rush to invade any country, and especially Iraq.

I would have Al Gore, and the reasons being:
No Nobel Peace Prize going to someone who makes a fake documentary about the earths natural evolution and blames all of us for it.
Michael Moore would be out of a job.
Tipper Gore would have to deal with Islamic nutcases far worse than the people she tried to ban rock music for. Justice would be served on her for her past actions.
The Iraq war would still have happened but Saddam Hussein would not be executed.

difficult to say...we know what Bush has done- and we can only guess what Gore would have done...I like dealing with known evils...so I'd have to say Bush...I like peace- hate war- but understand that all good things are worth fighting for...I pray every night for the men and women and their families and hope the song "if you're reading this" won't apply to anyone else- foolish but a hope none the less... Elections for as long as my limited voting capabilities have been a lesser of the two evils circumstance... I want to see a leader who can appeal to the masses.... I want to see someone like Teddy Roosevelt who was a Democrat in Republican clothing... I want to see someone who is willing to go out in a debate wearing tennis shoes, jeans and a t-shirt that reads " your village called- their idiot's missing" because for once I'd see a person that ISN'T politically correct- has a sense of humor- and isn't their to make friends but is instead there to get the job done....at least Bush has a good sense of humor....
