I need help with writing an essay about why am I a patriot.?

This is really importanat to me, but I don't know how to write it. Please explain how to write it in 6th grade words. I need the response by Friday, October 19. We have to answer these following questions: who are some patriots in the past/present and how can I be patriot? Thank you very much, and please mention this to your teachers and friends.

If you search the web, you find a lot of political talk dressed up as patriotism. Thus, I suggest you look further back in history.
