I've been at this job for about a month. This girl I work with slept with our manager and was recently promoted. It wasn't like a big promotion but she makes more than I do. He flirts with a couple of the girls here but most of them ignore him because they think he's a pervert.
I don't really care. I'm pretty sure he's married but he says he's not. I went out with him yesterday just for a couple of minutes to pick up lunch for the rest or the office. He's not that bad looking and sex is just sex right?

This is a tough situation. I would keep the relationship really discrete because people can be judgemental. Note all the responses so far. Anyway, if he says that he does not have a wife, who are you to say otherwise.

Just so you know, the fact that you are even asking this question makes you look like a sl*t and if you think he is married then why the h*ll would you even think about sleeping with him? It all sounds pretty sleazy to me. It's your life so go do what you want just don't expect anyone to have any respect for you if you follow through with that kind of behavior.

YUP, you're having pre-slut thoughts, the tiny pentance he can pay you for a performance, is worthless, he might give you a bonus, a Baby, or a life sentance to an AIDS treatment facility!! This will help you to learn that hard, honest work is 2nd, to a toss in the hay, not a good way to develope work habits/morals!!

"Sex is just sex." That's what sl*ts say. Sleeping with anyone for your own personal gain, be it monetary or anything. That's what wh*res do.

You want a promotion? Earn it the right way.

Tell him you want to take a momentary leave of absence (quit) so that you can rock his world (and his wife's if she finds out). After wards, ask if he'll hire you back on. If he does, ask for a raise. If he doesn't , his world was never rocked. That way you didn't do him while as an employee!

Guys do not pass up an oppertunity for sex.

Are we pigs?

maybe.

Just go up to him and say.

"You and me baby are nothing but mammals... So, lets do it like they do on the discovery channel."

If you're going at it that way, that is exactly what they will call you.... and if his wife finds out, she will likely come to work to kick your butt......

Never date a co-worker, when the affair blows up, you still have to work with them....
