At last!! A Red Sox fan who knows baseball!!
Yes, you need EVERY game from now on. It's been done before that a team has come from behind after being down 3 games to 1. In fact, didn't some AL team do better than that a few years ago? Oh, some team. . .out east I think.
Besides. It's baseball. Anything can happen. YOU are a fan of the game, sir, and I salute you.

If Cleveland can win 3 in a row, the Red Sox could too, it's just unlikely. The red sox have been totally off balance since game one and they have no concept of small ball or manufacturing runs. The Indians just haven't given them the amunition to win.
That being said, you would still be relying on Dice-K to win a game 7 for you and you have to get by two Cy Young candidates to get to a game 7. I think Red Sox will win game 5, but lose game 6.
Those that see Schilling as a 'money pitcher', are looking at the 2002 version only. he has lost tremendous stuff over the last 2 years and is now an average pitcher.

2004 was one year. 2007 is another. Why do all Red Sox fans cling on to 2004? They returned 3 starters from that year, and unlike the '04 Yankees, this year's Boston team is going up against two men who will finish in the Top 5 in the Cy Young voting, and their hungry. Boston's done.

I agree with you but, if it doesn't happen, that's OK too! I really love my team and I am happy that they made it this far! I think Cleveland is really hungrier than Boston and that is what is making all the difference (aside from the fact that no Boston starter except Beckett has been any good..lol..).

i definitely agree i think beckett and our crew will completely shut them down. but u never know r bullpen isnt great and thats what matters in the playoffs. i think we can manage to score some runs off sabathia. boston has a deeper starting rotation. and well be at home for the last two deciding games. itll be a very interesting playoffs. i think boston has a shot 4 another world series. go boston!!

Sox fan since 1981. They have a very tough, uphill climb ahead of them against a very good team--but it is possible to come back. I have faith!

im not a red sox fan..im a die hard card's fan..but you guys can come back...i no from first hand experience, in 2004, the sox's were down 3-0 in the ALCS, and you won 4 straight against the NYY, and then swept STL, in the world series, so to answer your question..YES!!, the red sox are very much alive...and honestly, im pulling for the sox's
