There are only two remaining Beatles left, Sir James Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, AKA Richard Starkey jr. Unless you count Pete Best as being a Beatle. The rumor of Paul being killed started in 1966, there was a theory that Paul had been replaced with a look alike and sound alike, thankfully it's only a rumor. The Beatles were the first to popularize Backmasking on their Revolver album

The conspiracy about Paul's "death" was set up for the public to discover how Paul died by playing the album Revolver backwards for clues or hints, or a message. I believe this is what started the theory of playing records backwards to find hidden messages. Doesn't work with CD's I'm afraid, lol. Hope this helps answer your question.

That's a big fat no. It was all a hoax. Somehow, somebody made up the story that Paul McCartney died. They pointed to clues such as in the Abbey Road album all the beatles are all wearing shoes except Paul, who was barefoot. In one of their songs it sounds like John said "I buried Paul." So a big rumor started (John said that what he really said was "cranberry sauce," not "I buried Paul.") It appears that they did this to get people to buy albums and to get people interested in the Beatles again.

Thia was a story making the rounds in early 1970. According to the tale, Paul had died and was replaced just before the release of Sgt. Pepper. The discovery was made when some played the end of the album backwards and heard the voice of John saying "The Walrus is dead" over and over. Paul was wearing a Walrus suit on the front cover. Many people tried to get their phonograph players to run backward, but it was very difficult. I knew some one who did do so after several tries. He said all he heard was weird noises that meant nothing to him. It took several years before this tale died down

there is not any information that any of the clues are surely clues. you will locate which skill in something in case you seem perplexing adequate. surely his kinfolk in Liverpool might have observed it wasn't the comparable guy. John and Paul argued while you evaluate that they had diverse suggestions of the place to circulate with the band. Then Paul introduced he became into leaving, that annoyed Lennon via fact that he wanted to be the single to announce it. They then slagged one yet another off interior the clicking and in track, maximum prominently Lennon's "How do you sleep" and greater subtly McCartney's "Too a lot of human beings". no longer long in the previous John died, the two did resume a friendship, yet they did no longer see one yet another generally - Lennon became into no longer able to circulate to the united kingdom via him being denied re-get admission to to u.s. as a results of his VISA subjects. i think of that's risk-free to assert that if John had no longer died, no longer in common terms might the two have become good buddies returned yet they virtually surely might have collaborated musically returned faster or later.
