I have been with my boyfriend for over a year now and love him so much. He does everything for me, well what he can anyway. One thing, I am a total romantic, adventurous and passionate sap and he ....well isnt. He is not creative what-so-ever and never takes me out or asks me to do anything. I hate this!
Is this normal in a relationship??
If so, how do I get him to do something without me always having to plan and call my friends to do something?
Another thing, he gets pretty jealous and is constantly thinking every man around is interested in me or a "Rich" man will capture my interest and I will leave him. NOT TRUE!
I know it is his insecurity but what can I do to help?

Apart from the jealous part my husband is completely unromantic and I even have to tell him what to get me for my birthday but if you truly love him you just have to accept that this is the way he is and it doesn't mean he doesn't care about you.
If going out or doing romantic things is something you need then you have to accept that these will only happen if you implement them, if you're not happy doing this then maybe he is not the man for you.
With regard to his jealousy, you need to talk and sort through it as jealousy can destroy any relationship.

Every man is different and your man just isn't that type to plan a picnic at the park ot whatever other romantic lil thing you might want. You shouldn't hate that becasue that is just part of his character and it won't change. think of all the tings he does do for you don't dwell on the fact that he isn't prince charming.

My husband has always been like that and we been married over 25 years, I lost track.
My daughter's husband is like that and they haven't even been married a year.
You just learn to make the plans and then he maybe will go along with them, if not, just go by yourself with your friends.
Not all men can be everything.
