Mr D. Eisenhower was one of the greatest people of the 20th Century. Not only was he a five star General who planned the
liberation of Europe from Satan's servant Hitler and his buddies from Italy and Japan , he was also a great U.S.
leader.
You had better thank your lucky stars that he was the leader and what he did some 60 plus years ago. Because if we lost to Hitler and his henchmen, you would be speaking German today.
Please refrain from using degrading names " like calling " someone a " pantywaist " who history has revered has a truly great leader on many fronts.
I think you need to do some deeper research before you make yourself " appear " to be somewhat ill-informed or just uneducated and very young.
I deserve 10 points just for telling you whats right.

And JFK inherited a recession from him. helping exertions over administration isn't the government's job - they ought to be impartial. Republicans have been and are enormous supporters of civil rights. Eisenhower's bogeyman of the "militia commercial complicated" replaced into misguided. the genuine possibility is and has been the Wall street - government complicated as at the instant exemplified via Dodd, Frank, Corzine, Reich, Geithner, Solyndra, etc. government did no longer "construct" the interstate gadget - taxpayers paid for it and private contractors outfitted it. It replaced right into a earnings to business enterprise, and served a secondary militia purpose, yet like quite a few great infrastructure projects, the economic gadget replaced into no longer inspired, which replaced into why there replaced right into a recession.

We need Ike back...IKE Now More Than Ever...I Like IKE. the last honest president.....................A people that values its privileges above its principles soon loses both.
Dwight D. Eisenhower
Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies in the final sense a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.
Dwight D. Eisenhower
I hate war as only a soldier who has lived it can, only as one who has seen its brutality, its futility, its stupidity.

Eisenhower was, IMO the greatest military commander of all time, and such a reverent warning as his probably wouldn't get any credence had it come from anyone other than him.

Sounds pretty smart to me.
Did you know the reason behind the straight stretches of national highways?
For use as emergency landing strips in case of war.
