What do you think of this girl's name: Alyssiea. My cousin named her daughter this. I think it's a mess. I preffer Alice of Alyssa.

I like how the name is pronounced but I hate the spelling. And that makes the name so ugly. Ughhh!!!

Alessia is a beatiful Italian name. Is this how it's pronounced? Or is it like Alyss-ee-uh? both are very pretty, but Alyssiea is to hard on the eyes.

It looks like the Latin/botanical name for a plant. Or may an ocean. Not a little girl's name. But it really doesn't matter what we think... what's done is done. And obviously your cousin likes the name and that's is what matters (for now anyway... it'll probably be a different story once that child is older).

Looks like how a 5 year old girl named Alyssa would spell her name if you asked her to guess how it was spelled.

It's horrible. Even the pronunciation sounds like a childish nickname, not an actual given name that she's going to be stuck with into adulthood.

I can't tell how this sounds pronounced out loud. A cute nickname could emerge from this name (ie. Alley) Congrats to your cousin's new blessing!

Definetly with you. Sorry to your cousin but I prefer simple names like Alice.
