Your question is worded a little funny. What you really want to know is IF this is used in any sexual way.
Not generally. White petrolatum is a product that is most commonly an ingredient in other products. Many skin lotions and cosmetic products along with hundreds of other products.
It is occasionally used as a 'super skin lotion' by people who have serious dry skin problems.
It would be extrememly unusual, and not even very effective as a sexual lubricant, which is what I am guessing you're thinking.
If you need more convincing information take one of the tubes to your local pharmacist and ask him or her about it.
Better yet, ask your husband straight out.

From your info, I think you are jumping to conclusions. Also, do you mean petroleum jelly? In our house we use it for chapped lips and dry skin.
For sexual lubricants, there are MUCH better products. You could use petroleum jelly if you didn't have anything else. Its kinda thick though.
Have you two tried anal yet? You both might enjoy it. Go to the drug store and pick up a better lube first!

Maybe he got it for free I would talk to him ask him where they came from. I would not think he was cheating just for that reason. Are there any other indication that he might be?

Not unless you think it's cheating when he is using his hand! It's also used for anal sex but if he was on a trip alone he probably used it by himself if you understand that.

Lubrication for anal sex. Maybe he uses it for his hair? I think people use it for hair gel as well. Check the wikipedia article on it for more uses.

I use it instead of chap stick. Mostly it is used to protect the skin from chapping and wind burn.
