I'm not looking for holiday destinations. I'm trying to write a criticism of enlightenment ideas, and need a few countries that have been proven to torture their people.
I'd do it myself, but it's 21:30 and this work is due in the morning and I have 10,000 things to do.

The U.S. has used torture at Guntanomo Bay on the detainees.
Sad what this president has presided over.

All countries will conduct torture if the circumstances seem to warrant it. Some practice is as a norm. Good luck getting any to admit it. It's illegal even in desperate times.
