Beckham is the best exponent of a dead ball ever and considering that's all he trained at at Man UTD fine. Other than that he never reached the level of Cantona, he was not all that, just a free kick taker. When Man Utd let him go then he has done absolutely nothing. Sorry he is totally over rated.

Don't insult the word "Football" by saying that David Beckham plays it. Crybaby Beckham plays soccer and me thinks that there was a guy named Pele who may have been a little better than the Pretty boy and his manly looking wife.

he was a good player at max. in the past few years, he is just an average player. you can't compare him with many football/soccer legends in the game. you are downgrading the other players.
i agree with the previous comment about pele. his love for football/soccer is what made him a legend. oh..of course, he has skillz....
