I had gotten a double injection, and I regret it totally. However for me, it's time for things to start function as it all once did...

I hated all the side effects.

I gained 5 lbs every 3 months (and I didn't change my diet or exercise habits). I lost all sex drive. My breasts constantly hurt. I was very emotionally unstable (and often depressed). My face broke out horribly, and I started losing my hair in clumps.

I didn't have any periods, but that was not worth it at all!

My experience with the Depo shot was both good and bad. On the good side, I only had to get the shot once every 3 months which was really convenient for me. It also stopped my periods completely. On the down side, however, I gained
100 pounds over the 7 yrs. I was on it. Finally had me boyfriend of 9 yrs. get a vasectomy so I could get off the shot and dump the weight. I guess you gotta take the bad with the good.

What do you mean "Double Injection"??????? You should only have ONE every twelve weeks!

I had a horrible experience on the depo shot as have MANY MANY other women.

I would never recommend this for anyone and am appalled its still being administered.

Google "depo provera lawsuit" and check out the reviews at:

I am assuming by the depo shot you mean Depo birth control shot and not depot Lupron for endometriosis.

I had a fiendish time with both, which yes, did stop my periods but made me a emotional trainwreck.

If you are feeling regret the only real way out is time.

Good luck with everything!

you may think it is time for things to go back to normal, but your body may have a different plan. I hope you are your old self again very soon, but dont be surprised if it takes a year or two-that is what can happen with depo
