Extraterrestrial life is the subject of astrobiology, and its existence remains theoretical. There is no evidence of extraterrestrial life that has been accepted by the scientific community.
I am one of those...prove it type people. So right now I could go either way....

Considering the fact that we live in one small part of an enormous galaxy, it would only stand to reason that there must be other places where people exist. It's practically impossible to know what they would look like or how they would live. I kind of like the idea that there is a parallel world out there where our counterparts are doing exactly the same things we're doing. How would we ever know for sure?

Since this is the philosophy section, I am going to answer this by asking what you mean by "world?" We certainly know that there are other planets and that they are different from ours. You did not frame your question in terms of "life" on other planets. A common speculation is that there are other civilizations out there in our Galaxy, but that the vast time and space that separate us makes communication unlikely. Since a species would have to be far in advance of our technology to overcome the obstacles of the distances and since no such species has decided to introduce itself, it seems unlikely that they will. Of course, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence so they may contact us tonight or tomorrow! It will be quite sometime before we are ready to contact them.

people before me stated they see no proof, but that wasn't the question the question is what do you believe, and yes i believe there is, when there are more stars in our Galaxy than there is sand on a California beach, and more galaxies in the universe than there are stars in the milky way, i do believe some rock somewhere in the universe has some sort of life,
scientists did a test back in the 70s you may have seen it if you watched it, they created amino acids ( the building blocks of life) by setting of artificial lightning strikes in a glass globe, if its that easy to create the foundations of life its not so hard to believe its gone further elsewhere
that said i dont believe we have been visited by inteligent life
ufo nuts are just that...nuts

I think it is always possible to have other worlds outside our known world. Enoch spoke of seven levels that he visited in the heavens and he said that they were invisable to our sight.
You can get on line and read about what Enoch saw on each level in heaven. You may find it interesting.

Define "world". If by world, you mean planet, then, duh. If by world, you mean a thriving orb in space teeming with living organisms, then I don't know. I haven't seen one. If by world, you mean a place (not necessarily a planet) with intelligent life-forms contemplating things that such beings might contemplate, then I have no idea. I haven't seen such a place.
I think such speculation is silly, at least until we see such a world. No offense. Its ok to be silly. I am very much a silly person. It's called dreaming. If we didn't dream, then our own world would be a very dark place.

I only believe when there is evidence, but even if there is does it really matter? It is not going to change my life.

yes it is possible................i mean there's a lot more galaxies, universe, and other junk out there......if there are aliens out there why didn't they come and visit us( is it because we're so primitive they don't want to waste their time on us or see us as a threat at all?or is it because they just plain hate us?)
sorry if i didn't answer your question(=P

Nowhere in the Bible does it state that we are the only people created in his image. It would be arrogant to believe so in my opinion.
