Actually yes!! I called this lovely lady named Anna (wink, wink) today. I called her "ANN-a", and she responded by saying, "yes, this is AH-na". Well, at least that's the first time a non-USA native corrected my grammar...

But anyways, I like to thank her for correcting me, and that she had a lovely voice and I wish the line worked a litle better... hopefully she has a great day :)

I do all the time on here. My first language is Spanish but in my country, Puerto Rico, English is part of the curriculum. Starting first grade all the way through high school there is always an English class.

provided that English is this form of oftentimes spoken language, persons to locate it common that non-community audio equipment placed across their very own accessory into it. the object is, individuals hardly benefit expertise of a distant places language adequate to communicate it and so as that they on no account rather attempt to pronounce precise. they only take it with no attention, the actuality that each and each individual could talk English. and then there must be the historic stereotype approximately individuals being good... no longer very smart.... yet another purpose may well be super emmigration from in each and every single place the international closer to u.s. and persons coming returned to thier community u . s . a . after countless years and having a daft accessory and pretending to have forgotten their own language.

Never, my grammar and spelling is generally very good. I went from a crap primary school to a grammar school where they were appalled at my English, but unwilling to believe it was there job to help me- I'm mostly self taught and quite proud of it! I work hard not to be picky about other people's but I do always notice!

Not face to face, but I haven't met many people who/m? for English is not their mother tongue or maybe they spoke English that well I didn't realise.

I have had spellings corrected on here and I don't know if English is their first language.

Americans try to and we all know that what they speak isn't really English. However, my grasp of my language is excellent so no, I tend not to be corrected.

Not that I know of, but I did have an American tell me I'd spelt something wrong!!!!!!! behaviour and realise! They didn't bother answering the question itself though!
I was highly amused especially when another answerer picked them up about it!
