What is the stutued of limitations on and for a Civil Lawsuit regarding on a 211 (Robbery) charge against a person that was wrongly arrested on this charge, got the wrong person, in jail for two weeks, lost their job because of this wrong arrest, etc.

Arrested on 6/3/2007 and released on 6/19/2007. And who must and should this person bring this civil lawsuit up against for these danages?

Several issues involved -- starting with what state you are in, since all such matters vary by state.

First, there's the statute of the crime itself

Then, there are issues about the length custody -- what is allowed in that state, whether there was an arraignment and/or bail hearing, whether (and why) bail was denied -- why he got out two weeks later -- all relevant

Then, there's the question of whether he can sue anyone -- which depends on the above, plus determinations of whether all procedural rules were followed, whether there is any evidence of bad faith by the authorities (as opposed to merely making a mistake) -- whether charges are still pending, and he's just out pre-trial -- etc.
