i would accept her for who she was. there may come a day when you want her acceptence. iam sure she loves you unconditionally you should do the same! she is STILL your mother no matter what! i know there are a lot of other things in this world that she could be that are "worse" then being a lesbian. Nothing has changed she has just come out to you. Love her and try to be understanding. As she would you! Good Luck!!

I would stay out of her and Dad's business. I weren't even testfy if divorce court even if I was sent to jail for not testfying for anything.
Last I would feel strange about it but would try my best to be normal around her.
OF course this is a big if she's very straight and prefers men especialy Harrison Ford who I don't find good looking but she does.

Support her. She has supported me for 29 years as her daughter and friend. . .I think the least I could do is return the favor. She is my mom. You only get 1 in your lifetime.

Yep, I would be disgusted. I would also hope that she found happiness with whoever she like (whether boy or girl). But honestly, I don't think I would like seeing my mother dating another woman. That is just nasty.

Respect her life as you would like her to do if the situation were reversed. She's still your mom except now you know a little more about her.

Wow...kind of ironic. One of my best friend's just found out that hers was this way. Personally, i'd still hang out with her and all but thats kind of biased... because i don't mind the whole homosexual/bisexual thing.

I'd ask her about it, be patient, supportive, and be sure she knew how much I love her. How would you want your mom to handle it if she found out the same about you?

Well she's 68. I would be very surprised to find that out now. Plus I would be shocked.
